Here is another really great and simple crocheted baby sweater pattern, that's easy to follow and really quick. And of course best of all, it is crocheted as one piece, so when you're finished there's just a seam to sew up on each side! My kind of project, exactly.
I had been wanting to try out this crocheted baby sweater pattern every since a kind reader shared it with me, and the news that a good friend had given birth to twins, a boy and a girl was all the incentive I needed! I was looking for a quick project, (that reader says she makes these in about three hours!) so I used two strands of a medium weight yarn to make these sweaters on the chunky side, but you can certainly use any yarn of your choice. Though you may have to increase the number of stitches to get a sweater that's the size you'll need.
And by the way, this is a great pattern for someone just getting the hang of crocheting, especially since the time investment is relatively little for projects of this sort. So be brave and give it a try, you'll be so happy you did!
