We've ushered in the Jewish New Year, and we now find ourselves smack in the middle of the busy Fall holiday season! So tighten your seat belts, we've got a lot of crafting to do here!
We have just over a week until Yom Kippur, and just four days after that Succos will be knocking on our door! We will be celebrating Succos by dwelling in the Succah for seven days (pure heaven!) and then we move directly into the lesser known holidays of Simchas Torah and Shemini Atzeret! Phew!In case your head is already spinning, let me focus you a bit: Get to work on your Succah plans and decorations now! A Succah is a great place to experiment with bright colors and bold patterns that you might be afraid to use in your home, so have fun and pile on the color!
Today and tomorrow I'm going to show you a few photos of some of my own Succahs in the past. I hope you'll be inspired to make your Succah something truly special this year!
