Northern Israel is home to the Red Poppy, and this is the time of year when you can walk outside and all of a sudden see the fields and hillsides full of tiny red dots! It's one of those exciting moments that I look forward to every year! These flowers are a protected species, so we don't pick them, we just step outside to enjoy!
