Hi Everyone! It's that time again! As always, the projects from last week were just stunning! In fact I told a friend of mine to take a look at my blog, and afterwards she said "oh those projects!" Then she asked me a question and I realized that she thought that all the featured projects from Craft Schooling Sunday were my work! How embarrassing! On the other hand thanks crafty friends for making me look so good!
Here's a small sampling of some of my favorites from last week, though as usual there were many more that I just loved! Keep up the great work, each and every one of you is an inspiration!
Aren't these tattered fabric flowers fabulous? Check out the great tutorial at sew4home. And have you ever realized that you could make your own flower scrapbooking embellishments? I think these are just lovely, and mel stampz shows you how to make them with a detailed step-by-step tutorial.
And talk about gorgeous, look at this necklace made with satin ribbon and chandelier crystals! You can learn how to make one yourself at theruffledblog. I thought that the juxtaposition of these two photos was a bit strange, but just loved these colors together, and then I realized both projects involve folding! Don't you just love this abstract coffee filter butterfly? Megan Hoeppner will show you how to make some, so stop by her blog to learn how!
Carolyn at mybackyardeden always has some great DIY home projects up her sleeve, and this book page wreath is just one of them. Book page wreaths have been really really popular since last fall, so yes, many of us have seen a ton of them, but this one is just one of the nicest! And I just love these fabric boxes for storing all kinds of things! There's a complete photo tutorial over at bolt neighborhood, so enjoy, and while you're at it, could you make some for me too? Maybe with a little Amy Butler Fabric, or Anna Maria Horner? Thanks a million.
I just love this little flowered baby hat from creationcorner, so sweet and feminine! And really, words can't describe how my heart lept when I saw this paper flower topiary from Julia over at buzybunny, brilliant!
And I have to be honest, my heart also lept at the sight of this adorable ABC wall art that sweet little smoothie obsessed over (like a true crafter!) before the birth of her child. And this hedgehog onesie is just too cute for words, who wouldn't want a gift like this? Check out this and some more great ideas at megity's handmade.
And lest you think I only love frilly girly stuff, well let me tell you, I just love this robot softie that pickupsomecreativity made based on a sketch from her son! And servingpinklemonade's felt toolbox and tools is just too cute! Okay, before I faint from all this inspiration, let's open the linking party! (Oh and don't worry about me, I wouldn't dream of fainting just when all the guests are about to arrive!)
As usual, please link back to the party with a text link or grab a button here, and make sure to link to the URL of the post. Feel free to link to a few projects if you'd like, and try to visit some of the other people who've come to the party and leave them a comment! Thanks for coming, can't wait to see what you've been up to!
