Here's what mommy made yesterday afternoon while running the house from the kitchen table! Though quite honestly a bit time consuming, and a little tedious, I'm still interested in pursuing this technique some more. And the best part of it all is that after I completed my project the needle felting continued for several more hours with the younger set making their own projects, which I'll share with you tomorrow! (Adult supervision advisable for young children, since there are needles involved, but I'd say a hot glue gun or a knife of any kind are much more dangerous...)
For this project I used a base of light weight woven woolen fabric (from a scarf that accidentally got ruined in the washing machine...thanks Dena!) and applique pieces of medium weight woolen fabric (the kind used for braided rugs and rug hooking) and wool yarn. For more info and list of tools required, see my post from yesterday here.
And if you would be so kind, could you please click on the "stumble it" button in my right hand column, that would be ever so helpful! Thanks a million....
