Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, it's great to be back! I sure missed this weekly source of inspiration, and the first party was great, full of so many wonderful projects, as well as a bunch of new faces! I think you'll agree with me when you see my picks for the week.
This milk carton boat is just about one of the cutest crafts I've ever seen, thanks to lilla a.design and her amazing taste. And this fabulous paper mache plaid bowl? Well you can probably, guess, this is by none other than the fabulous Aunt Peaches, made with recycled wrapping paper from holiday gift giving!
I just love these hearts from my gramma said, made by upcycling an old quilt, and great any time as they have a little pocket perfect for leaving little notes to your loved ones! And the felt ballet slipper? It's part of an amazing quiet book that serving pink lemonade made for her kids, definately worth checking out!
Isn't this box guitar great? We can always count on Kate over at mini eco for some great ideas and fabulous photos of them! In South Africa it just so happens to be summer, so over at Se7en they made these great t-shirts for the whole gang by painting bleach onto t-shirts! And as it turns out, the results aren't always white, especially with dark colors like navy blue and brown!
This little castle backed with recycled wrapping paper? It's made by copying a child's drawing and converting it into outline form on cardboard— a really clever idea from Michele Made Me. This stunning peacock created by Suzy's Sitcom might look like stained glass, but guess what, those black lines are glue! A really great technique that I can't wait to try myself, thanks Suzy, and congratulations for making the features on your first visit to the party!
Ever thought about making a braided rug? Now you can practice with these coasters made from t-shirt strips, thanks to Carolyn at Carolyn's Homework. And can you believe that these unique flower wrist cuffs were made from a plastic floral sink liner? How creative is that? Of course I'd expect nothing less from Mich In La!
And now, let's see what's been going on this past week! Please don't be shy, we'd love to meet you if you're new and thinking about joining the party, and for those of you who are back once again, thanks so very much, I really appreciate your participation! And please don't forget to link back to the party, thanks so much!
