Succot starts tonight and we are so excited, as this is truly a wonderful holiday, especially here in Israel where the weather will hopefully be lovely and we won't get rained on! I really can't describe the amazing feeling of inhabiting our "temporary dwelling" (the Succah.) During the seven days of Succot — we celebrate the holiday with family and friends in our Succah, and by night we sleep in the Succah too! This photo is actually looking from the inside out of our sleeping Succah, undecorated at the time of this photo.
In any case, I've still got lots to do— the finishing touches on the decorations, some cooking for us, some cooking for a friend who just gave birth last week, a little ironing, a little cleaning up and hopefully a few quiet moments to take a deep breath and absorb it all!
So my friends, I won't be blogging much during the next week but I've got some great posts planned for you— lots of inspiring photos from my mystery trip! Have a wonderful holiday and all the best!
