Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday! Last week's party was packed with great projects from around the world, places like Australia, The United States, The Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Jakarta, Singapore, Portugal, Macedonia, France, Canada and Switzerland!
Today is the last day of the holiday of Succot in which we say goodbye to the beloved Succah, and then it's time to begin another celebration, Simchat Torah, which involves lots and lots of hours of dancing in the synagogue with Torahs, both actual and child sized versions, and of course because the festivities tend to be quite lengthy, there's always lots of cake too! At then end of the holiday on Monday night (Tuesday night outside Israel) I think I'm just going to collapse and dream about getting back to some crafting and especially crocheting, just in time for fall! Or maybe it's finally time to get over my fear of sewing and dive in? That's all for now, here's my favorites from last week's party:
Love these felt and cardboard tube Sefer Torahs from design megillah, so adorable and just in time for Simchat Torah! And speaking of adorable, well I've always loved fabric yo-yos, and with this simple tutorial from three sheep studio you'll be whipping them up in no time.
This knit lace stoll from Van Anna's Hand is just gorgeous, and love mormor's glamour milk bottle cap magnets, can you read Swedish?
If you're looking for some neutral fall decor, how about one of these fun wreaths, a bird seed version from sew licious decor, and a lovely decoupage book page version from Craftiments.
Aunt Peaches made this fun tie-dyed tablecloth, perfect for fall, and love this corn husk pumpkin from Carolyn's homework.
And of course fall is the perfect time to crochet some adorable acorns from Estrea Chikitu, and make some nice fall leaf ink drawings from The Crafty Crow. That's it for the features, looking forward to seeing what you've been up to!
