Here's a super simple crocheted ruffled edge shawl that is the perfect accessory to keep you warm as Spring approaches! Plus, you can whip it up now in just a few days (depending on how obsessed inspired you are and how much sleep you're willing to sacrifice for your obsession need to create!) and still enjoy it for a few months, before taking it back out in the Fall!
In just one week I got plenty of actual use out of this wrap, and because I fortunately thought of using black for the edge, it can look dressy or casual, depending on what you're wearing!
And when you're not wearing it, is sure looks cute hanging out in your home! So rather than pouring over hundreds of patterns rather than actually making something, which happens to me too, grab some yarn and get to work!
You'll Need:
- 3 skeins Red Heart super saver, two heather gray, one black
- 6mm or J crochet hook
- pattern, courtesy of Red Heart, here.
- Note: I used black for the last row of the trim, which they do not specify in their pattern.
Note: I made my shawl just a bit longer than the pattern calls for, but in retrospect it might have been a bit less bulky has I gone with their suggestion. You decide: measure the length of a shawl or wrap that you like and use that as your guide!
Enjoy, I got tons of compliments on this one and it's a pleasure to wear!
