Here's a nice idea for making a low flower arrangement using a container that you may already have, or that at the very least you can re-use in your container garden! The idea is.....use a planter, and make the arrangement using floral foam placed in a low dish within the pot, got it?
While high flower arrangements can be stunning, there are some settings in which a low arrangement is called for, like on a head table, and I think this one was festive and beautiful, and easy to do yourself, or order from your florist, with the container provided by you. (Though I would have prefered another layer of leaves around the perimeter, so do request that!) The later is what I did for a recent celebration, and I'm so happy that I'll now have two giant tea (well latte really) cups to fill with flowers once the bouquets have run their course.
Another plus with low flower arrangements is that they're easy to bring home intact, and look great just about anywhere. Which reminds me, do get yourself a wooden stool (or three, as we now have!) they're so very very useful in so many ways!
Wishing you all a beautiful and meaningful Shavuot, see you back after the holiday!
