Why are you taking a picture of that? My daughter asks? Well, I need some material for my blog, and this is what I have to show for myself at the moment. A nice healthy salad, packed with nutritious veggies! (Spinach, baby greens, avocado, grated carrot, onion, mushrooms, red cabbage... delicious!)
Summer is a great time to start eating more salad, and even making salad the main course for most of your meals. Fruit salad in the morning, and vegetable salads for lunch and dinner, oh and some beans and nuts and whatever else you feel like....in our case we're doing the vegan thing about 6 days a week at the moment, as it's just too challenging to try and make our Shabbat meals vegan too, especially when it involves children and guests who most likely want to enjoy fish, and meat. Oh, and the husband also wants to reward himself for eating healthy six days a week, which is a big accomplishment!
So there you have it dear readers, instead of crafting I've been chopping fruit and vegetables. Also a very worthy pursuit I must say!
