Wishing all my readers a very happy sweet New Year, and a wonderful Jewish holiday season, full of crafting and creativity! Last week's party had many wonderful projects as always, and here are those I've chosen to hightlight:
With Succot coming up in less than two weeks, I think these tissue paper flowers, made paper mache style on long water balloons, would be perfect! Thanks so much to jellyfish jelly for this amazing idea!
And with Fall arriving any day, filling the home with cozy crocheted projects is certainly something I'd love to do, starting with these fantastic crochet appique pillows from chris in de haak, and a classic crocheted ripple blanket from happy in red.
Of course a doily applique tablecloth, especially one with some added cloth embelishments could be a great project as well, thanks to the always fabulous Rosi.
Crocheted sleeves for jars are wonderful for the Succah, and indoors from estrea chikitu, and these little pouches would be a great little holiday gift project to get started on now as well, also from estrea chikitu.
And for the knitters? I'd love to try this simple figure-eight wrap, with simple instructions from Anna simple crochet, and these apple blossom embroidered booties from Ginx craft are just precious.
Baby onsies with seasonal messages always make fantastic gifts, and love this one (with the date of the Jewish year we've now entered) from made by mamaleh. And of course, no holiday season is complete without a little bunting, so how about making a crocheted triangular one, from home made at my place.
