The holiday of Sukkot is a joyous festival that is shared with family and friends, in the Sukkah, of course! So please dear readers, do join me. I haven't yet been able to capture the entire sukkah on account of the difficulty required in photographing the space without a wide angle lens, though these first images will hopefully give you some idea of how I've decorated our small Sukkah, which is in the courtyard entrance to our home, this year.
The theme this year was lots of bright color, from Moroccan table cloths and tissue paper crafts, mixed with clean white, and the results are festive and uplifting.
The revamped paper lanterns are hung from an overhang that defines the edge of the Sukkah, and the pink floral fabric was a find from the fabric district in Tel Aviv....I bought what remained on the bolt and it was patiently waiting for it's debut in the Sukkah where it's just perfect.
Thanks for dropping by, and for those celebrating the holiday, wishing you a joyful Sukkot!
