A crocheted granny hexigon project that has been occupying most of my crafting time, is at long last almost finished! I have just two full hexigons to crochet and then five half hexigons, and then, it's on to the border, or possibly weaving in all those ends before working on the border. It's been a lot of late nights, as this one is twin bed sized, which means quite a lot of crocheting. Fortunately, the granny hexigon pattern is quite fun to make and I haven't regretted taking on a project of this size, well at least not yet!
Because I didn't plant this project and then go buy the yarn, I didn't have enough creme to make a uniform granny hex blanket in the desired size, so I decided to make a border of two rows of solid hexigons.....and phew, I'm loving the results, as it's modern and just a bit unique!
Looking forward to the reveal come Chanukah in just about three weeks, gotta run!
