Don't have any actual land to make the garden of your dreams? Don't despair, neither do I, and yet with just a little bit of effort, one can enjoy the rewards of gardening and especially gorgeous blooms using just containers! Here are a few photos of what's blooming in my container garden right now!
Lantana, above, is one of my personal favorites, and it comes in a variety of amazing colors, would love to get my hands on the multicolored one! It is usually seen growing as a bush, but there is also a trailing variety, which is what I have, and it does well in containers.
Wow, these petunias sure make it look like I know what I'm doing! Just a bit of luck actually as this is the first time I'm really venturing into petunia territory, and not all of the pots look this good.
The ever faithful Canna! Lovely large leaves and blooms every year, dying back in the winter and coming back in the spring. A fabulous plant to try in any container garden, and divides easily to make lots of pots full of tropical beauty.
Verbena always reminds me of summer! This year keeping an eye on this plant so that it won't dry out too much, as in the past my verbena have only lasted a few months, sigh.
Love my climbing pink roses, which are in a very large built in container.....
That's it for my little garden tour, hope this is an inspiration to those who have yet to venture into container gardening! And if you need any help or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
