Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday! We have now entered a period on the Jewish calendar called the "9 days" meaning the 9 days leading up to the very sad day of Tisha B'Av. During this period we are in mourning, and refrain from listening to music, eating meat and drinking wine (except on Shabbat) bathing for pleasure, doing laundry, (the laws differ for Ashkenazic and Sephardic Jews) and swimming, just to name a few things. Nonetheless this period occurs during the summer, so we gotta keep the kids busy, and of course there is nothing like crafting!
Last week's party was so very very inspiring and packed with great projects thanks to all the wonderful contributors from around the world. And I'm so happy to report that as you may or may not have noticed we keep getting new contributors every week, and this week we can again add South Africa to our list of contributing countries! Thanks so much for joining me here, and now, for the features, truly something for everyone!
