While I was cleaning out my kitchen cabinets before the glorious holiday of Succot (which we are currently celebrating) I came across some mesh potato sacks I'd been saving and quickly whipped up some crocheted potato sack kitchen scrubbies to use during the holiday! Of course, this isn't the first time I've made scrubbies from potato sacks, though previously I only made one, which I'm still using.
So dear readers, even if you don't know how to crochet, this is a project that you can certainly master, and if not, one could also embroider a blanket stitch around the potato sack and get a similar result.
These scrubbies were each made with a single potato sack that holds I believe 2 or 3 kilos, not a super huge one. For complete instructions see my previous post here, and start saving those sacks!
