And if you think it may not be realistic to actually have enough stars to casually adorn the table as well, think again, you can easily whip up a bunch of these in one sitting, and if you have some help, well, you can certainly make napkin rings, as well as string star gift toppers and garlands!
You'll Need:
- cereal box cardboard
- a cup to trace around
- a ruler, scissors and a pen or marker
- gold crochet string or yarn
- metallic gold trim
- a hot glue gun
How To:
Following the complete string star tutorial that I wrote for houzz.com, make as many string stars as you'll need. (And then make some more, as they look too great not to use everywhere!) Cut gold trim to desired size for napkin ring and make a ring using hot glue. Secure a gold string star to the front using hot glue, and you're all set. Now go set your holiday table and enjoy this little bit of handmade goodness! Wishing you a wonderful holiday season, and all the time in the world to satisfy your crafty dreams!
