I'll admit, I never thought I'd be sharing plastic canvas crafts with you, but never say never! When the lightbulb moment happened and I had the idea of making little minimally embroidered houses out of plastic canvas, well I just couldn't resist, and here they are. Truthfully I went on to make a bunch more plastic canvas crafts some of which I will be sharing with you, and some of which I'm hoping to turn into patterns to put in my shop. Time will tell, as you may know, these crafty blog endeavors take soooooo much time, anyone got some to give away?
Plastic canvas houses are so very sweet, and look great lined up on a shelf or even hanging as a mobile. Do be aware that it is a bit of a challenge to get them really perfect looking, but they're just adorabe in any case, so go for it!
You'll Need:
- plastic canvas
- yarn and yarn needle
How To:
Cut seven pieces as shown below, and stitch panels together from right to left as seen here. Continue to join panels until the entire shape is formed. Embroider any details before joining panels. That is it!
