Once upon a time I shared with you a crocheted hexagon blanket in progress, and somehow never got around to photographing the finished item. So now, three years later, and just in time for your holiday and winter crochet project planning, I present to you the Crccheted Granny Hexagon Join As You Go blanket. This fits a twin bed, but a smaller (and quicker) version would make a fantastic baby blanket. You can do the hexagons as solids, or go for a polka dot look, or both as I've done. One disclaimer: the only reason that I ended up making solid hexagons around the border of the blanket is that I ran out of cream yarn, and since the yarn was from a purchase made in the USA, i decided to just wing it. I'll admit that while I'm happy with the blanket, after all that work, I'm still on the fence regarding the results which is why I very likely never quite got around to photographing it, silly me!
