Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday! So wonderful to meet up with you all right here every week, and last week's party was chock full of great inspiration as always! Just by the way, I do love this party and I invest many many hours into making the features look great, however as in previous years I am going to take a break for the month of December. There is just always way too much conflict between this being a Jewish blog and the projects posted for non-Jewish holidays, so the easiest thing is to simply take a little break, which also gives me a little more time for some holiday crafting of my own.
This year the first night of Chanukah is on December 24th, which sure is interesting timing, and that means that everyone who celebrates Chanukah will also be off from work (well most people, anyway...) meaning that this year can be truly special, yippee! And dear readers, how to we make holidays special around here at CJM? Well we craft our little hearts out, right? So lets get inspired with the features from last week's party:
A fun Ikea Rast hack with rope handles from chatfield court, and a lovely embroidered home sigh from flamingo toes.
A DIY barn door bookcase update from Worthing Court, and a lovely fall display from lolly jane.
Great knit vest from Ginx craft, and a loom knit cowl from do it your freaking self.
A fun crocheted Frida Kahlo amigurumi from howling at the moon, and a wonderful puzzle piece gift tag from a thoughtful place.
A sweet crocheted doll from tschi tschi, and a crocheted owl pillow from Anne Marie
Fun coin purses from happy in red, and a fantastic cape made from old curtains from time to craft, a perfect idea for Purim, in fact I want one!
A lovely printable poster from bigger than the three of us, and a tray from the crafty blog stalker that would be a perfect tray for that guy that you can't figure out a gift for, or of course anyone who prefers modern and masculine! Do it on a white tray with pretty pastels and one color that pops, and well that would be perfect for me!
A beautiful tea tray from the navage patch, and gorgeous family recipe placemats from hunt and host
Burlap and felt fall table runner from the real coake, and a perfect woven placemat craft to keep the kids busy on any holiday, from dazzle while frazzled.
Fun paper globe snowman from the crafty blog stalker, and a faux fall leaf placemat from our peaceful planet.
A DIY denim clothespin bag from libby's lifestyle, and a wine cork snowflake from virginia sweet pea.
Cranberry and lemon pot pouri from lolly jane, and a great recipe for hand sanitizer spray from garden matters.
And that is it for the fabulous features, hope you are inspired as I am! And now dear friends, what have you been up to? Thanks so much for joining me here.
