Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, and hope all is well in the new year! Yes, dear readers, it is now a new year on the Jewish calendar, though the good news is that unlike the new year on the gregorian calendar, which is only one day, our Jewish new year, and the opportunity to make amends as well as to make resolutions starts with Rosh HaShana, continues with Yom Kippur, is extended until Hoshana Raba (the 7th day of Succot) and according to many, the gates of opportunity for all this spiritual work don't actually close tightly until the last day of Chanukah! One great big phew I'd say, and it is comforting to know that even if life throws you a curveball during this important period, not to worry, nothing is lost, just make up for it! And I think that is probably a good life lesson in general, right?
Speaking of making up for it, I still can't visit all of your blogs to grab features, so please be patient, and my apologies for that.......I'm going to change to another internet filter that will hopefully be more craft schooling sunday friendly!
And now, for the feature from last weeks party:
Love these boho upcycled jeans pillows from pillar box blue and this simple embroidery hoop wreath from lolly jane.
Sweeter than sweet kid's playroom via lolly jane, and look at the amazing similarities between these two photos, the second one being super cute upsherin (jewish haircut celebration for boys when they turn three years old) from beyond the balagon. Oh and just by the way, the word upsherin is yiddish, and here in Israel most of us call it a chalakeh. Almost forgot to explain that the items in that photo are a juice box tzitzit (four cornered garment) and cookie kippas!
Love this upcycled sweater hexigon lap quilt from pillar box blue, and these fabulous fabric scrap pumpkins from refresh living.
Simple fall decorating from rain on a tin roof, and a lovely printable from clean and scentsible.
Lovely DIY fabric bins from consumer crafts, and a simply wonderful fall console on the front porch (!) idea from lolly jane.
Fabulous and organized kid's spaces, like this homework center from clean and scentsible, and a fun fall apples printable from clean and scentsible.
Fun entry porch fall shelves, wow, from lolly jane, and a fun cutting board blackboard from fall from clean and scentisible.
Rolled fabric roses from busy being Jennifer, and fun junk pumpkins from duct tape and denim.
That is it for the features, what have you been up to?
