Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, thanks so much for joining me here! I am still up to my neck in all things related to freshening up the upstairs floor of our home and boy is it a mess! No major construction, just repainting, new light fixtures, turning a laundry counter into a kitchenette, and closing once open closets with doors. Hoping to create some DIY art for the walls, but will see what I realistically have time for in the next week. I have picked up some great woven rugs to hang on the walls in a few spots, baskets and touches of gold to try and give a summer holiday meets 60's glam aesthetic. And yes, there is a pinky wall and lots of grey, mixed with white for an overall fresh and modern backdrop for who knows what?
As far as inspiration is concerned Craft schooling sunday is always full of great projects to keep all of us inspired and busy, so lets have a look at the fabulous features from last week's party:
Love this decoupage fabric scraps mirror from pillar box blue, fantastic inspiration to finally put all those frames I've been saving to good use!
A great looking DIY console from a new contributor, anika's DIY life. Welcome Anika!
DIY shutters are so simple to make if you are just a bit handy, and make sooooo much difference, love these red ones from the scrap shoppe blog.
Another great project from Anika's DIY life, this DIY lattice planter.
Fun baseball coasters from duct tape and denim.
A great looking knit hood that can double as a cowl, from lilia craft party, and a cozy knit garter stitch blanket from simply summer street.
Great looking outdoor drink cart from clean and scentsible.
Fabulous low 60's bedside tables re-made into a bench, from dazzle while frazzled.
Fun trellis pattern walls from rain on a tin roof, and great looking electrical tape DIY projects, including this frame, from rain on a tin roof.
That is it for the features, what have you been up to?
