Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, thanks so much for joining me here at this linky party which continues to be inspiring every week thanks to all the amazing contributions! Okay, the Jewish holiday season is now officially over, and with Chanukkah on the distant horizon now would be a great time to try a new craft....something on the cozy side, or something just because. You won't be surprised to hear that I've got a bunch of crafty things happening on the side at any given moment and am always wishing for more hours in the day to pursue them! I recently read an article about creativity that suggested that making lists is a way of life for many creative people, so here and now I am declaring that I'm going to start committing all my creative wishes and dreams to lists, and that is at the least one step towards realizing some of them! Wishing you a creative fall season, and now for the features from last week's party:
Love this fun baby quilt with an embroidered and appliqued middle panel from flamingo toes.
Super simple fabric pumpkins are great from using up your stash, and are perfect right now, from celebrating everyday life.
A fun DIY neon name sign from pillar box blue.
Amazing kitchen organization projects using dowels from grillo designs.
Great looking DIY plate rack using dowels from grillo designs.
Adorable little DIY fall knomes from busy being Jennifer, and DIY crackle paint votives from anikas DIY life.
Yes, these great looking brooms from rain on a tin roof were made for the pumpkin holiday, but I was thinking they'd be a great prop for so many occasions, namely without the spooky vibe, but with the sparkles. Did you know there is a Jewish tradition (and likely in other cultures too) that when the last child is married there is a dance at the wedding called the broom dance? In my community this is generally done in the women's section by all the younger female relatives of the bride, and in many cases there are already quite a few grandchildren dressed in the same outfit and the whole thing is just too precious.
An artful upcycled paintbrush garden fairy and a lovely wire link necklace with fairy pendant from crafty hope.
A great looking chalkboard illustration for fall from howling at the moon, and fun cactus party invitations or party favors from howling at the moon.
An Ikea Duktig play kitchen makeover from anikas DIY life, and a DIY three tier end table from anikas DIY life.
Fantastic knit fossils from ginx crafts and quick DIY felt pirate boot covers from dazzle while frazzled. And that is it for the features, what have you been up to?
