Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, so great to reconnect with all the regulars and welcome a few new party goers as well! The first party of 2020 was filled with great projects, especially if you love to crochet, and/or knit as I do. While the holiday of Tu B'Shevat is the next Jewish holiday is happening in another 3 weeks or so, I haven't quite gotten over Chanukah, and the decorations are all still up, which is fine as they are wintery and glitery and so much fun. While we follow the lunar Jewish calendar, the new year on the Gregorian calendar does provide another push to think about new beginnings and the speedy passage of time! I am really really hoping that this will be the year in which I can at long last get at least one book out there into the world, though truthfully I have so much material (both old and new) a series of books is what needs to happen. So now as I write this, I'm thinking that at a certain point very soon the only way to actually do that is to put the book first which means possibly having to turn down other work. I do like to think that I can do it all, but reality is there are only so many hours in the day! So wishing everyone the brain power to make the right choices with how to spend our time, and then making the most of it! That said, a few minutes checking out the features from last week's party is time well spent, so enjoy!
Adore these upcycled cookie tin boxes from pillar box blue, those leather handles really do the trick, and I just love how the tins look on the inside, which you can see in the party collage above.
A cute as can be crocheted pineapple key chain from Anne Marie hack blog.
LOVE this pixel crochet heart square from eye love knots......so many ways to go with this: a pillow, a wall hanging, part of a larger blanket, a doll blanket, a doll rug?
Another gorgeous crochet project, this one a crocheted blanket with a flowered border, from Anne Marie Haak blog.
This fun crocheted blanket from handmade by Amalia is actually made by joining a bunch of old crocheted scarves, love that!
Cozy and rustic looking ear warmers crocheted by eye love knots is a great project!

A cozy knit baby bonnet, which is perfect for beginners, and oh so adorable, from kiku corner.
And, for those with a bit more knitting experience, ( though really cables look much more complicated than they really are) this cabled knit hat is gorgeous, also from kiku corner.
Upcycled denim and embroidery hoop hanging storage bags are perfect, from pillar box blue.
Love this DIY organza flower gift topper from sum of their stories, and this artful mounted branch air plant holder from my DIYol.

This brilliant file box memory box for kid's paper and artwork is brilliant and I am now feeling officially guilty for not having done this for my kids. Okay I have save the precious artwork in a box, but maybe it is time to divide it up per child.......the lesson is start with this from nursery school my friends!
Okay, that is it for the features from last week's party, what have you been up to?
