Purim is the holiday that entails giving food baskets or gifts that are food oriented to friends, neighbors teachers and those to whom we want to express appreciation. So, this year my daughter who is the resident baker in our home, did not have time to actually bake, but rather she assembled these gorgeous cookies from store bought items. Quite gorgeous and a great way to make jsut a few of these (she made four) in a relatively short amount of time. Keep on reading for a brief description of what she did to make this work of edible art!
- pink cookies
- bon bon filling
- pink candy melts
- pearl candy topping and long white sprinkles
- pink and white candy balls, and half brown/half white chocolate balls, and some long chocolate sticks of some kind
- chocolate covered pretzels
- waffle cookies
- heart sandwich cookies
- shredded paper for bottom of box
- clear plastic box
- white ribbon, some dried white flowers, raffia ribbon would be great too
How To:
- Melt the pink chocolate melts and drizzle over waffle cookies, and add pearl candy topping and white sprinkles
- Make sandwich cookies from pink meringue cookies and bon bon filling, dip sides in pearl candy topping
- Assemble in box as shown, tie closed with a white ribbon, and wow!
So proud of my talented daughter who has great style and pulls of cookie boxes like these......something I have never done, and never will, i give a selection of Moroccan salads!
