This past August we had the great pleasure of revisiting a new favorite location in Northern California, the town of Pacifica! Very close to the airport, stunning views and trails, and foggy/chilly weather to escape the summer heat elsewhere makes it an amazing destination. That aside, Pacifica is not a fancy beach town, rather a low key place that even includes a mobile home park and a trailer park just above it, right on the water. It is true, the city has been plagued by crumbling cliffs, and you'll find lots of rocks propping up the cliffs, nonetheless, there isn't any immediate danger unless posted, and again, it is truly a gem. We have visited without a car, and there are major grocery stores within walking distance, to most locations. Okay, lets take a look at our dreamy vacation rental location, where we literally sat and looked at the view for 9 days, which was a good thing since I broke my wrist in the airport on the way there, and so it goes!
Wow, a jaw dropping back yard right on the water!
A glimpse at the mobile home park just above our rental, I'll take one!
That aqua house matches the chairs!
For some reason this area is just always foggy, with patches of sun as well, but even in August a sweatshirt is recommended! And truly, there is nothing quite like the California coast!
