Thanks so much for joining me here at Craft Schooling Sunday! At long last we have some cooler weather here in Northern Israel, which means it is time to start thinking about crafting for Chanukah! This week I resumed my craft classes with two groups of boys, and yes we are getting busy with chanukah decorations so that they will have many items to bring home once the holiday gets closer, and I will start sharing the results with you soon! It continues to amaze me that it is also possible to craft and talk with the boys about so many interesting things and how much they love to talk and infact do want to go home (though their mothers start calling.....) So friends, if you can, take the time to craft with some kids in your neighborhood and give them the extra attention they very likely need, it is truly an amazing thing! Okay, lets take a look at the features (still a few more to come) from last week's party:
Love these polymer clay dreidels, from Jewish Moms and Crafters, and now is a great time to get started on chanukah crafting!
Great looking ornaments for any occasion made from sari fabric, by sum of their stories, now you'll never throw out a great scrap again!
Fun DIY felt monstera leaf coasters to sew for holiday gifts from Hello Sewing, who is back at the party after quite some time yippee!
Loving these faux fall leaf shaped cookies to craft for fun decor, from studio 27 by Jennifer Adams
Wonderful crocheted corn amigurumi to use as place card holders or corn on a shelf decor, from birdz of a feather with free pattern!
Wonderful crocheted girl/woman doll that you can customize, from lalka crochetka.
Amazing looking plum thyme gluten free upside down cake from the polka dotter (via mich soiree blog) and a binga labu (Malaysian style) baked pumpkin cake from treat n trick.
That is it for the features, what have you been up to?
