Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, thanks for dropping by! This week it is time to get cooking and crafting for Purim, which we will celebrate on Thursday night/Friday leading right up into Shabbos, which will be quite a festive atmosphere, with just a few hours break to get the house in order after the Purim festivities to welcome Shabbos. We always expect a crowd, so I absolutely must be ready for shabbos before Purim, with challahs in the freezer, salads and main course made, with just Moroccan fish and Cholent/Hamin to make on Friday. Of course there are also the gifts of food to prepare for friends and neighbors, which I also hope to have ready the night before. And of course, while I did a ton of crafting and have lots of decorations, I just had an idea that I must make, so there's that too.......okay, gotta run will try to share some of the preparations with you, and in the mean time enjoy the features.
Ah yes, and to make things even more interesting, Purim is actually celebrated in Jerusalem on Sunday, so that is where all my kids will be, but I'll stay home thanks. So this year is called "mishulash" meaning triangle because of Purim-Shabbos-Purim, and someone told me there won't be another "meshulash" for another 20 years, so friends triangle is my theme!
